Nathan Cunningham, University of Warwick
Nathan is from Ireland. He completed his undergraduate degree in Economics & Finance in University College Dublin, before completing a Master's degree in Statistics in UCD also. His dissertation focused on the application of cluster analysis to fossil pollen spectra. Since then, he was been working with the Economic and Social Research Institute in Dublin as a data analyst where his work has focused on the Irish healthcare system. Particular projects included examining variations in mortality outcomes for patients across Irish hospitals, and assessing the impact of the introduction of universal health insurance in the Republic of Ireland. This work helped develop his interest in statistics and cement his interest in further study. In his free time Nathan enjoys playing and listening to music, reading, and sports.

Benjamino Hadj-Amar, University of Warwick
Beniamino comes from Italy. He graduated in The University of Genoa in 2014, with a first class in Mathematical Statistics. A fascination in the explosive rise in the volume of data generated today, and the demand for data analytics has led him to pursue an MSc in Statistics at The University of Warwick and then to apply to the OxWaSP. His masters thesis topic was the focus and the development of code to simulate Wright-Fisher diffusion processes, for population genetics. Outside of his research interests Ben is a passionate climber, poker player and electronic music producer.

Jack Jewson, University of Warwick
Jack completed his integrated Masters Degree in MORSE (Mathematics, Operation Research, Statistics and Economics) at Warwick in June 2015. Originally studying all four strands of the MORSE degree, Jack chose to specialise in Statistics and OR as the course progressed. Jack has a particular interest in applied statistics which was demonstrated when he acted as a consultant for a professional County Cricket Club, as part of his Masters Dissertation project. Through OxWaSP Jack hopes to explore utility theory and sports modelling, amongst other fields of statistics. Outside of his studies Jack enjoys playing and watching cricket & golf, reading and watching films.

Ella Kaye, University of Warwick
Ella is originally from Canada but has lived most of her life in England. She followed her undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Philosophy with Masters degrees in History and Philosophy of Science and Mathematics Education. She taught secondary school maths for a couple of years, and her interest in statistics was first piqued when thinking about how to make the subject interesting to teenagers. An MSc in Applied Statistics followed (via a couple of years in market research) and she is delighted to have the opportunity to continue onto OxWaSP. In her spare time Ella enjoys cooking, cycling, and playing the clarinet.
